National Catholic Schools Week begins this Sunday. We have an Open House in the School after Mass from 9 am - 2 pm. Join us and visit our school for your children and grandchildren in PreK3 to 8th grade. Ask for more information about our school and enrolment for the 2023/24 school year. The open house is an opportunity to meet our teachers, students, and parents.
The Annual Steps for Students 5K run/walk supporting Catholic education in our archdiocese is on Saturday, February 11, in Downtown Houston at 8:00 AM. Fr Felix has registered for this fun event. All funds raised for this event will stay in our school to provide whatever is needed to enhance our programs. Saturday, February 11 is World Day of the Sick, an observation introduced by Pope John Paul II as a way for believers to offer prayers for those suffering from illnesses. Join us on that day here at St Mary Magdalene to celebrate a bilingual Mass with anointing of the sick at 10 am.
El sábado 11 de febrero es la el Día por la Jornada Mundial de los Enfermos, un dia de observancia que fue incluido por el Papa Juan Pablo II para que los creyentes ofrezcan oraciones por aquellos que sufren enfermedades. Acompañenos, ese día celebraremos una misa bilingüe junto con la unción de los enfermos a las 10 am.
