WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS ANUNCIOS DE LA SEMANA
The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is on Monday, August 15 this year, therefore is not considered a Holy Day of Obligation in the United States. All the same, we will have Masses that day as follows: 8:30 am Mass in English and 7 pm bilingual. Also, due to this observance, the parish office will remain closed on this day.
We are planning to reopen the nursery, but we will need volunteers during the 9 am, 11 am & 1 pm Sunday Masses, and Tuesdays from 7 – 9 pm. If you have any questions, please see the bulletin and email or call Tony Butera at tbutera@st-mm.com for more information.
We need confirmed Catholic adults (21 year+) and young adults (18 - 21 years and out of high school) to help staff our CCE and/or sacrament prep classes. If you love your Catholic faith and want to share that faith with others — we need you! Catechist training will take place during the last two weeks of August. Don't hesitate to get in touch with Barbara Lowell (grades Kinder - 5) or Mike Smith (grades 6 - 12) for availability and session info. Prior experience is not necessary!
MINISTRIES ANNOUNCEMENTS
KC Holy Hour. We invite all of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community to come and join our Holy Hour of Reparation that will be held on Monday, August 15th, at 7 pm in the Chapel. Please, join us to pray for an end to the Corona Virus, for our parish, and for all personal needs.
Our Social Ministry (Magdalene House) needs afternoon helpers for Tuesday & Thursday, from 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Also, helpers for the Blessing Tree Team. If you’d like to help with gift wrap, communications, and logistics, please see the parish bulletin and email Chris Rubio at crubio@st-mm.com.
